The numbers of the hooks are the size, and the smaller the number the bigger the hook. Top right is for catching a lot of small fish quickly in tournaments, bottom right is focused on fishing the margins like in the stalking tutorial, top left is focused on fishing in coarse conditions for big carp and catfish, and the bottom left is focused on slaying carp. To that end, the best advice I can give is to notice that the upgrades go out in four different directions. My only real complaint is that even though the tutorials are helpful for teaching you how to fish in the game, you're basically left to sort out the upgrade process on your own. Even competitive multiplayer was still relaxing and fun. Relaxing - Maybe it's the slight randomness of the fish biting, but I find the game really relaxing to play. You can specialise in one kind of style of fishing or become a jack of all trades as you work your way to unlock stuff, both seem viable options. Lots to unlock - The skill tree (equipment you can buy) is extensive and will take a fair bit of Gameplay to get hold of. Casting is challenging but as with the landing it's very satisfying. You hold the left trigger to put your finger on the line when casting and release it at the optimal point to cast, just like casting in real life.

Netcode (potentially) - I played three multiplayer games of 30 mins each yesterday, against friends who all have fibre connections, and the game was jittering and lagging like mad at times. Graphics - They're nothing special and in places are pretty poor, sometimes the fish come out blurry, and everything looks a little poor in comparison to the screenshots in the store.
